Khan Academy offers high-quality video tutorials that engage students deeply with STEM content. The platform thoughtfully organizes material by grade and developmental level, making it easy to use. I use it for both quick assessments and activities that promote critical thinking.
IXL offers engaging, interactive tutorials and games that help students explore STEM topics while building practical skills. I like to use IXL during tutoring and homework help sessions as a supportive practice tool—for reinforcing concepts and developing computer skills at the same time. For example, here is a fun quiz activity on how seeds work, along with a solid math activity on graphing; both provide detailed explanations after each question.
